For Smiths Schoolwear, we built a WooCommerce-driven powerhouse, bringing their brand to life with a sleek, fully custom WordPress site. Our journey kicked off in Figma, where we designed a smooth customer experience—complete with multiple payment methods, tailored shipping options, and a checkout flow so seamless it feels downright effortless. To tie it all together, we wove in strategic plugins like Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), ensuring every aspect was polished, practical, and perfectly on-brand.
The real showstopper was our custom plugin, engineered to sync orders and stock levels with Smiths’ POS system via an MVC approach—backed by RabbitMQ for reliable queueing and detailed logging for total peace of mind. We even enlisted WP-CLI to boost performance under the hood. The end result? A fast, flexible storefront that delights shoppers, locks in loyalty, and puts Smiths Schoolwear at the forefront of online uniform retail.
